@DarknessDpa There might be formats where it might be correct, same with terra forming (e.g. when mystic mine was legal )regardless a rule shouldn't be created thinking about optimal play but with cohesion in mind. Since Yu-Gi-Oh doesn't have a resource system to me it makes sense
@NotYourRock@jen_tcg That's a fair point. But while the games has issues, a lot, I think this rule works in it's favor. You can still feint and bluff. I'm just using an example with vs I'm not saying that the play is good or bad. That said, we can always agree to disagree, hope you have a great day
@NotYourRock@jen_tcg rota in the GY can snowball big time with the extra draws you get with engage, it could be s terra forming if you are worried about your full hand being unplayable in sky striker if you can't resolve rota
@NotYourRock@jen_tcg it doesn't change anything. But, to me, it's beneficial to the game if we lower the amount of times this scenario happen, like preventing ilegal activations. Another good example could be with sky striker where not only you could bait an ash but the difference between having that
@NotYourRock@jen_tcg interruption with Caesar and razen in then opponents turn . Regardless of ash being good or bad on the matchup forcing it with an illegal activation results in a big differenceonnthe board the opponent has to contest going second
@NotYourRock@jen_tcg Maybe I didn't explain myself properly. In this case what I'm doing is making an illegal activation to make my opponent waste an interruption. If I can't illegally activate rota I miss out on: hollie sue, field spell, trap, little knight, mad love, a free draw an extra
