We built XP on @solana because we believe the future of the live events industry lies in decentralization–moving away from the model of exploitative, rent-seeking middlemen and towards a future of platforms as value-add facilitators.

This funding allows us to move into our next phase of fan-forward growth: investing in identity-driven features that will make every stage of the live event journey more meaningful, connected, and rewarding for fans.

Next came features dedicated to bringing more transparent pricing to the marketplace:
Tixpy, our AI-powered Chrome extension, compares all-in ticket prices across sites.
Our in-app Price Alerts notify fans when their dream seats become available at their ideal price.

It starts with transparency.
First, we built a marketplace that shows transparent, all-in prices on 50M+ tickets to the best live events–all for up to 30% less than the other guys thanks to our lack of hidden fees.
(Fair-market ticket prices = BIG win for fans 🎉)
We're thrilled to share XP has raised $6.2M to build the future of ticketing–with fans at the center–led by @blockchangevc with @L1D_xyz, @reflexivexyz, and others.
More below on how this accelerates our mission to build the most fulfilling live experiences for fans 👇
Today, we’re announcing that we’ve decided to back @saunders3000 and his team to build @xpticket.
When I met Mike at Breakpoint in 2023, he had just won the Grizzlython. I soon learned that Mike is a serial entrepreneur having sold his previous company to Grubhub and managed to bring his team along with him on a 10 year journey to eventually find their next goal: to build a better ticket marketplace.
Now, let me tell you a little about me. I go to a lot of shows, probably 30 a year, mostly concerts and some games. So I feel confident when I say that the current UX for ticket buying is archaic. The exorbitant fees, the lack of “resellability”, the difficulty of finding seats, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Mike’s vision for tickets is different.
Mike sees tickets as an asset class and the ticket exchange as, well, an exchange. He also sees the ticket buyer, not just as a buyer, but as a fan. This is what XP is building: an exchange for fans.
Despite Mike’s track record, this was a very hard round to raise. Almost every VC I introduced Mike to shared that “they would never do blockchain and ticketing”. Ticketing was too hard, too many incumbents.
This was music to my ears, because as an investor, I’m looking for truly contrarian investments and this checked all the boxes:
✅ Killer Founder & Team
✅ 1 → 100 innovation
✅ Serious traction
✅ A sector that average investors wouldn’t consider
I can go on and on about why XP is going to revolutionize the ticketing world, so if you want to hear more, feel free to reach out.
But if you want to XPerience what it takes to win, I highly recommend you sign up for XP today. Join me and watch as this team ships one of the best products in crypto faster than you could ever imagine.
XP remains committed to leading the industry with transparency and trust, and we applaud this important step forward in protecting fans.
Fans deserve better, and we’ve got more to deliver. Follow @xpticket for XP’s newest fan-first innovations dropping soon 👀
Now, with all-in pricing being the new standard, fans can see the difference for themselves: same tickets, better prices, better experience on XP.

Game over for junk fees. The FTC just pulled the plug.
Today, the FTC’s new rule goes into effect, requiring ticket sellers to show total prices upfront – something that should have been the standard years ago.
XP’s been doing it from day one.
Here’s why this matters 👇🎟️
The access game is rigged.
Tickets disappear in seconds. Bots dominate crypto launches. IPOs favor banks over the public.
Same story: insiders win, supporters lose. This isn’t a free market — it’s a controlled one. We need something better, or the cycle won’t stop. /1
