@voidwarbler If it’s any consolation, a similar thing happened to me the other day. Happily cycling along when my bike went sideways and my face met the tarmac. Second time this month, so either we have slippery roads or I’m losing my touch. Or more likely I need to replace my 5y old tyres.

@camdencyclists I wrote to Camden Council about the pavement parking at the top of Camley Street, they told me it was private land and had no power to enforce. This is a great improvement.

By passing close and riding alongside and immediately in front of me, you boxed me into the door zone of parked cars. You wouldn’t tolerate that behaviour from a motor vehicle, so don’t inflict it on other cyclists.

To the two cyclists who close-passed me in #RegentsPark today (one claiming to be a @BritishCycling coach 🤔), please try to give more space when overtaking and don’t assume I want to be part of your peloton.

@cyclegaz Ask them to show you where in the app you can find the specific parking regulations for your city, because I couldn’t find it despite looking everywhere. With persistence, they may eventually concede and cancel your “ticket”.
