Rupert Lowe says his report proves "without doubt" the rape gangs are linked to Islam.

Here is where that word actually came from. Three things he isn't telling you.

One.

The "87% Muslim names" figure isn't his inquiry's research.

It traces to a 2018 article by Christian Concern — an evangelical advocacy group. Not a research body.

Christian Concern co-founded a leadership academy with the Alliance Defending Freedom — a US Christian-right legal group with a budget over $100m a year.

Two.

The "95%" figure isn't data.

It's the personal estimate of one imam — who once campaigned to ban the burka.

One opinion. Printed as a finding.

Three.

The claim that the religion itself is the cause comes from "eight theological factors."

That framework was written by Mark Durie — an Anglican priest. Published by Christian Concern a month before Lowe cited it.

Durie's field is linguistics. His book argues Islam gives non-Muslims three choices: convert, submit, or the sword.

He didn't study the gangs and find Islam. He's argued Islam is a threat for twenty years, then applied it.

Strip out the advocacy group, the one imam's guess, and the priest with a fixed thesis.

What's left?

No mechanism linking the faith to the crime. Only the ethnicity pattern the Government's own audit found locally — and said could not be applied nationally, because the data doesn't exist.

His own report admits the scale is "impossible to quantify."

Then names a faith of two billion people. Beyond doubt.

That isn't a finding. It's an advocacy paper. Broadcast by an MP as proof.

Stand with the victims. Question the men profiting from them.

KuCoin has frozen over $2,800,000 CAD of my cousin’s money for close to 8 months. I’ve been working with him to help get it resolved to no avail and decided there might be someone on here that can help us. I would’ve preferred this could be resolved privately for obvious reasons, but other routes have been exhausted with no success.

He's been an active user on the platform for over 5 years. On July 16th, 2025 after a larger withdrawal they froze his account as a "standard precautionary review”.

After submitting KYC, sources of wealth and bank statements, KuCoin eventually responded that a “system anomaly” was the reason for the hold and they would need to review each trade manually before releasing the money.

During this period of time he had made a social media post to ask for help and was met with a denial of his issue from official KuCoin moderators. In addition, they threatened to take action against him for “repeatedly submitting inaccurate details” even though everything mentioned was factual (and while on direct email communication, they advised that it was their own system error).

We simply want to have this funds released so he can move on with his life, it’s been an extremely stressful and mentally draining time for him. I would really appreciate help spreading the word so someone senior at KuCoin can contact us directly to help get this resolved amicably. @lyu_johnny @kucoincom
