As history has shown, not believing in God or even pagan gods does make one exceedingly bloodthirsty and evil.

It is a FACT of life, proven again and again and again.

Simply reason: humans, by default, will naturally exalt self above others, and it will ALWAYS lead to conflict, death, destruction, etc.

Arguing against it is like arguing that gravity is a figment of imagination.

We are the problem. Our nature is the problem. Thus, we need someone beyond ourselves to serve as a mediator and lawgiver.

Our collective self is as evil as ourselves; that's why communism and any type of Marxism always fail.

Now, if you analyze pagan gods and the God of the Bible, you will quickly discover that the God of the Bible is the best humanity has ever seen and the only proper hope for our survival.

Technically no. It will not be confiscated, but the government can put a lien on the property for unpaid taxes, and if you attempt to sell, then all of it will have to come out of your sale price.

In some cases, local government can pursue it in court, but then again, they can't push you out of your primary residence, and fees will simply keep piling up for you or your descendants to deal with.

But I totally agree it is no better than the Chinese system.

Every single school in the country was educating children in the atheistic Worldview.

Cope all you want, the USSR was the shining beacon of atheism and the largest ever atheistic project on this planet.
