"Friendship needs no promises to endure and no closeness to bring warmth. It connects unconditionally and lives in rare moments that say everything, in words that wear no masks.” Me
"Quand tu veux construire un bateau, ne commence pas par rassembler du bois, couper des planches et distribuer du travail, mais réveille au sein des hommes le désir de la mer grande et large." - Saint-Exupéry
Designing a truly effective high-performance program isn’t about chasing trends/hypes — it’s about knowing how and when to apply each tool in your toolbox to bring out an athlete’s full potential.
@inaki_delaparra To be honest you said it all and this matters as much for amateurs as for professionals. A good body feeling is for me the key to mange the balance between load and recovery. This should be a skill that you develop really early in the career of an athlete.
Great quote that I just read:
“You find out who to trust when the world stops clapping. Trust isn’t built on status — it lives in the quiet honesty of someone’s soul.” Writer unknown
Are we truly the people others say we are on social media? Do they really know us—or only presume to know us better than we know ourselves? I often wonder about this, especially when I see how many people struggle under the weight of being judged by social media comments.
Trust must be more than a catchphrase in sport. It is an essential cornerstone — invaluable, unconditional, selfless, timeless, and non-negotiable — for athletes, coaches, and teams seeking to perform, grow, and succeed together at the highest level.
Lasting happiness comes from refusing to let others dictate the course of your life. The key to your fulfillment lies in keeping control of your own life, rather than handing it over to others.
In sport, money doesn’t just buy talent — it comes with expectations and obligations. This should never be forgotten by anyone involved: athletes, teams, managers, or sponsors.
"You can’t always come in shouting and screaming. It doesn’t work. You build trust, and once you have that trust, that’s when loyalty and performance follow.” Sir Alex Ferguson
I am not against AI but it gets a little bit ridiculous how many mails I get now with perfect formulations, written as if written by a writer. Come on, keep some personality in your messages. I don't want to get answers from a machine but from a human personality.
I’m currently preparing a 150-page performance review from the first part of the season. Ultimately, the conclusion is the same: sports is more than just pure numbers; it’s about humans and everything that comes with them. This makes it both challenging and exciting. I love it 😃
