@theHONYOCKER Looks like the DA's office is claiming roughly 13/100k last year, vs 23.3 for Covid, 13.3 for pneumonia and flu, 11.4 for liver issues (alcohol?) and 14 for suicide.

And 31.3 for "uninintentional injuries" (I'm guessing mostly automobile violence).

What's the political ax here?
