Who are Iowa's AEAs? We are physical therapists and PT assistants who work with students who design interventions that improve a student’s physical ability to access and participate in their educational program. #EveryDayatAEA#iaedchat
The AEAs are a system. That system is predicated on economies of scale. The bill in its current form will potentially encourage larger districts to self-fund and leave. If the “scale” leaves the system, students in rural IA are very likely to be the most negatively impacted.
"Iowa’s AEAs have never been adverse to change or improvement. We need to continue to inform others about the phenomenal work we do and participate in meaningful conversations with policymakers that lead us to better outcomes for all Iowans."

✅Obey posted speed limits in school zones
✅Stop when a bus has its lights flashing
✅Watch for kids crossing
✅Yield to buses re-entering traffic

Today marks a new journey! After 34 years in the PK-12 setting as teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent, I am embarking on a new adventure as the Chief Administrator for Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency. What an honor to be serving in this capacity!! @plaea
New from @Rushthewriter: Ten Iowa counties would receive over half of Gov. Reynolds' projected funds from her private school voucher plan, because that's where most private school schools are located.
Here's the places that would get the most money:
