@xerxesplacitum@MelissaLantsman I think you'll find that it is Carney that is the friend to the rich. He has the $1200 per plate dinner with Chinese lobbyists. He is the multimillionaire that owns stock in the largest companies on earth. So shut up and speak truth (your favourite oxymoron) yourself.
@xerxesplacitum@MelissaLantsman In 2025 the top 20 per cent of income-earning families will pay 62.7% of federal & provincial income taxes while earning 46.4% of total income. Comparatively, the bottom 20 per cent of income-earning families will pay 0.8 per cent of personal income taxes.
@LincolnLawyer6@MelissaLantsman Tell me Lincoln Lawyer what legislation that affected cost of housing, cost of food, cost of energy etc was delayed by obstruction by the opposition. I guess we will finally see action right?
@GarthNorris@rbatherson The LPC proved their only principle is power. They quickly adopted much of the CPC platform (axed the carbon tax, removed cap gains, bail reform etc.) and turned their back on their green/dei agenda. If LPC really had principles, people like Guilbeault would join Greens.
@PicklesMonika@rbatherson Hilarious. Trudeau and now Carney aren't cults of personality? MP's have been booted to foreign posts to silence them. Everything is run from the LPC PMO. Get serious.
@JJ_McCullough Your answer is in your statement. There IS evidence that Canadians don't support the rate of immigration ergo those wanting to get re-elected have jumped on the bandwagon. To support this level of immigration we would need more taxes.
@MichelleRempel@gmbutts How about we take some profits from the Media oligopoly that we have perpetuated via CRTC and build an "AP Press" style bureau for Canada? How about 10% of Bell and Rogers and Telus and Videotran profits go to this fund and we won't allow foreign competitors into cell/cable etc.
