been looking at the september AI funding numbers and the concentration is kinda insane.

83 billion+ rounds took 86% of the money. top 10 alone = nearly half of everything.

mostly compute (coreweave, crusoe, nscale, fluidstack) + a couple of model / app companies that actually have numbers now (zhipu, mistral, cognition).

the dumbbell is real. most of the market is still raising small, but the power is sitting with a very short list.
