New account of the real Dan Kervick, philosopher, socialist internationalist, ultra-left and tankie extremist, committed disorganizer, proudly abnormal.
My original and 17-year old @X account was stolen from me on April 28th. @X support has done nothing. I have created this new account and have now gone from 35.5K followers to 31 followers. If you see this, please repost and ask my old followers to follow me here.
@Jonathan_K_Cook Just say, “I believe no state that commits genocide has a right to exist, and every major human rights organization has affirmed that Israel has committed genocide.”
It’s not a trap. It’s an opportunity.
@LauraLoomer@MayorNYC This cretin and her lies get dumber by the day. I wasn’t even at the protest let alone chasing him or anyone else. I was at home with my child, I simply reported on the protest and endorsed it but had nothing to do with organizing it or where it ended up.
Is it really a coincidence that the same talking heads who spent years telling you “Assad is worse than Netanyahu” are now siding with Saudi Arabia and Israel against Ansar Allah in Yemen?
The world continues its move to the right. The left has been hobbled almost everywhere it temporarily thrives by coalitions of openly right wing movements and sleazy right wing entryists posing as leftists.
You guys are stupid for thinking electoralism doesn't work. Anyways here's why an elected official can't challenge the existing power structure or implement the policies socialists want.
The level of hypocrisy being barfed all over the internet over Yemenis (((in self-defense))) targeting Saudi airports is absolutely staggering.
Since 2015, Saudi Arabia and its allies have bombed Yemen relentlessly airports, schools, hospitals, weddings, funerals, homes and helped drive a country into one of the world's worst humanitarian catastrophes; a literal Famine!
And now we are supposed to clutch our pearls because Yemen has the audacity to strike back? Let me start with this ..oy presstitutes..we own no pearls.
You cannot spend years bombing, starving, maiming and devastating a people, then suddenly demand sympathy when the war reaches your own doorstep.
If that hypocrisy doesn't make your head spin, you are seriously not paying attention.
You do not get to manufacture the war and then lecture its victims about how they should fight it.
Take multiple seats and STHU.
Anyways... Kishik or Kneffeh for breakfast?
“Palestine is dividing the left!”
No, it’s defining the Left. You’re not owning up to the fact that genocide wasn't a red line for you. Genocide is the red line for anyone with a moral and ethical compass.
Notice the big talking heads crying over the bombing of the Saudi airport today, who said nothing about the Saudi bombing of Yemeni civilian infrastructure, and take note.
Every racist movement has a cover story.
The Puritans who wiped out the Pequot Nation and mass slaughtered other native tribes, had fled religious persecution in Europe.
Europeans, who settled in the Cape of South Africa were likewise fleeing religious persecution in Europe.
Why, after three years of unspeakable genocidal barbarity are “allies” still trying to defend Zionism?
The earliest inception of Zionism spoke of the natives as if inconvenient pests that could be done away with. To not see Zionism as racism itself requires a level of inherent racism.
The con-man Mark Carney told the Davos crowd that his government would apply the same standards to allies and rivals.
Carney has not uttered a peep of criticism of Saudi attacks on Yemen, which have killed vastly more civilians than Ansar Allah has killed.
Not one peep.
Tres ultraderechistas han vandalizado el altar dedicado a Maricarmen, mujer de 87 años fallecida tras ser desahuciada. Mientras, la derechista Ayuso llama "terroristas" a los manifestantes acampados por la vivienda digna.
This enormous disaster is also a small taste of what could happen to every Gulf country if “Israel” and the US re-open their full-scale war against Iran, its people and infrastructure, using Arab-regime skies and bases. One can only hope that good sense will prevail where hitherto it has not.
Some people don't understand why Marco Rubio is so extremely pro-colonialist, because he is technically of Cuban descent.
But it's important to understand that Rubio does NOT see himself as Cuban. He constantly emphasizes that he is of Spanish (and Italian) descent.
In his latest speech in Greece, in which he again heaped praise on Western colonialism, Rubio proudly described himself as "a great-grandson of settlers who arrived in the new world from Spain".
He heroized European colonialists Hernán Cortés and Christopher Columbus.
Rubio does NOT see his family as Cuban; he sees his ancestors as European colonialists who temporarily lived in Cuba (as wealthy, light-skinned elites who supported the right-wing US puppet dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista), before re-settling in Florida.
This, in fact, is exactly how many conservative, pro-imperialist elites in Latin America see themselves, by the way.
The “West” will throw away all its liberal pretensions of equality the moment the Zionists give the order. The correct response from @airfrance should be to stop flights to the genocidal apartheid entity (which they should do anyway). I hope Air France staff sue.
Remember: the 3000 Palestinians kidnapped off the street and held in torture prisons indefinitely, without even a rigged trial, are not “hostages”. This is a distinction reserved only for our precious baby IDF soldiers who are “kidnapped from a tank,” as the AP & WaPo phrased it
Actually existing libertarianism has been a total disaster in Argentina:
32,300 companies have shut down since Javier Milei came to power.
437,000 formal jobs have been lost.
According to official government data, unemployment is rising in every industry, in almost all regions
