@YOCspread Great point - the geotech’s initial recommendation is often conservative; reducing lime treatment from say 5% to 3% based on actual conditions can result in big savings!
@BaldyNFL@AZCardinals @trey_uno1 Where’s the love for the reach block by 74 and the unbelievable effort from the backside d-tackle that made the tackle 52 yards downfield?! Impressive stuff from the big fellas on both sides of the ball
@DeveloperTX As a GC, you sound like a true pain in the ass to work.
Complex projects move way too fast to wait that long for approval on a change.
In the real world, the GC and their subs figure out the solution (because the design team is usually clueless) and writes a confirming RFI.
@GrulkeLamonte If your sheathing to foundation wall transition is flush, can you just use zip tape? Or is this Fentrim product superior to zip tape for this application?
@YOCspread Agreed - our negotiated work is totally open book. Tucking excessive savings into a GMP is frowned upon.
We’re happy to cover additional scope with unspent allowances and other legitimate buckets of money - but owners who repeatedly expect added scope to be free are exhausting
@YOCspread How would a fire pump/electrical room with full height demising walls ever be cost effective? Just frame the room back to tilt panel and put a sloped lid on it at 12’. What am I missing?
Also have never heard of soil conditions under truck apron driving design of steel stairs.
After proving himself at Rookie Mini-Camp, Fullback Zach Ojile has officially signed with the Minnesota Vikings. Bulldog Country is beyond proud of you Zach!
