This is why Martinelli has been preferred on the left. He offers much more than that.

The whole midfield were missing for the Chelsea goal. Not just a Partey issue IMO.

The Thomas Partey conundrum….

When he wasn’t in the team we were defensively dominant, but maybe lacked verticality. Rice was a POTY contender at 6.

Now, Partey looks great, Rice not as good in the advanced role and we look susceptible defensively.

So, do we drop Partey?
