So, anyway…

My name is Sara. I was born in Dallas and moved to Katy when I was 3. I live in the Cypress part now, but I have lived in Texas House District 132 for 42 years.

I grew up here, I raised my children here, I found community here, and my entire LIFE is in this district in Texas.

There is not even a teeny tiny part of me who would’ve said yes if you asked me a year ago if I was interested in running for public office.

One conversation on the first day of early voting last year, with the man who currently represents my district, changed all that.

I walked away from the conversation determined to take his job.

I am a PEOPLE. In a government that was always intended to be OF the people, BY the people and FOR the people, I am a people.

And I want nothing more than to get to Austin and represent my hometown.

Everything else is background noise.

what i’m saying is the second you condone gun violence against your “enemies” you’re condoning gun violence when it suits you and that’s hypocrisy

whether you have sympathy for kirk is irrelevant
the fact of the matter is no one should be shot dead at a college campus for exercising their constitutional rights
you cannot condone gun violence against kirk but be mad when gun violence happens to someone you don’t hate
you either condemn all gun violence or you’re just a hypocrite

@RickyDoggin I'll eat a fresh habanero from the stem. They're delicious! I've made chili from habanero, ghost, Trinidad scorpion, and even the Carolina reaper. Separate pots of chili, each with a rich base of supporting chilis. So good! It's not for everyone, though...

apart = separate from, not included
