Guess I should pin the new one now it’s done. Number 9! The standard will be more Brett Angel than Duncan I’m sure but it’s all for a great cause and it’s an amazing day that reaffirms your opinion on people and what football can do when not run by that cartel.
Doobidah 💜
@slbsn Burnley wouldn’t even have stayed up that season. Genuinely baffled how we can be punished for how the league decided to carry out their rules and when. Let’s all sue Chelsea then
Always respected welcome to Wrexham and how they found some excellent heartfelt stories.Properly scraping the barrel having Nathan broadhead cry about leaving his parents to go to Liverpool to live. He’s from north wales and it was 15 years ago ffs. Have I missed something?
@LuvEvertonForum@Powelly1985 And when you say “spent money” we were the 14th highest spenders in the league last summer so people are seduced by the £140m rather than the context. After 5 years of nothing. Whoever the manager is needs more than one summer to address the huge issues in the squad.
@HLTCO We waited for about 15 minutes after the final whistle and nothing was said so we gave up and left. Such a shame that could have been easily avoided though summed up the day in all honesty. Shambles from start to finish.
@DanMc1878 140m sounds a lot but it was actually only the 14th highest spend in the league last summer after like 5 years massive under investment in the squad. Whoever the manager is it’s gonna take a few windows to sort the issues we had especially at those levels of spending.
@ccfc_07 There is weird modern thing where people think any touch on ball means it can’t be a penalty which just isn’t the rules. It has to be a big enough touch to take the ball away from the player, if there is no contact from keeper on diaz then he gets ball. So for me it’s a penalty
@DaleJohnsonBBC The frustration for the city game for me is it’s a bank holiday, at least they could have gone for a 530 kick off to at least show some attempt to think of the fans.
@Richlloyd1984@DanMc1878 Was also only the 14th highest spend last summer in PL so everyone spending similar and mainly more than us. We struggled to get the players we wanted as well so players maybe bigger longer term gambles than he hoped for. Hopefully easier this summer with this season behind us.
@johnmerro1@premierleague His Chelsea double one from a few years back was better for me, also think his united one earlier this season is better this year but it’s a tough call, he’s having his own personal save of the season competition clearly, unbelievable keeper.
@Ianmc22efc@Huytontoffee We were 17th after years of no investment when he came in. We spent the 14th most money in the summer and are 9th.Of course our home form needs improving, last night was frustrating but I would say we are ahead of where we should be given the investment.More Time is needed imo.
