All the smiles of a girl who just survived 3 days of seasickness and finally got to handle some big fish 😎. Over the weekend I headed a collaborative mission b/w OTN, DFO, AcadiaU and industry to acoustic and satellite tag some Atlantic Halibut @DFO_MAR@OceanTracking@AcadiaU
Sometimes work is just a walk on the beach! 😎 (...a 10+km walk, in the heat, on uneven cobble...)
This week we succeeded in the hunt for a beached PSAT tag that popped off an Atlantic halibut #MUN#DFOscience
