@Darwinismlives @NFinTX @DutchRojas I have friends who live in countries with universal healthcare. One had to wait years for cancer treatment, the other won't work for an employer that does not offer private insurance plans because public healthcare is terrible. These are Canada and the UK.

@MichelleMaxwell I'm surprised to learn there wasn't already a ballroom. He isn't tearing a building down it's a covered walkway. Tax payers aren't paying for it, he is with other investors. This is not the first major renovation made to the White House other presidents have added to the WH.

@johnamonaco @ModestTeacher I always had assigned seats. When I retired and subbed I hated classes that did not have seating charts. How was I supposed to know which student was causing problems. Can't give a name if there isn't a chart. Students won't tell you their name.

@Christo12919382 We don't need FEMA at this point. If you recall from Helene in North Carolina they were nothing but a hinderance. I believe they actually arrived sometime yesterday though. FEMA has to be invited to come.

@lukeshand2 This is very true. I taught business courses on which taxes and how to handle bank accounts were taught. We had to beg students to take these classes because they didn't offer extra GPA points.
