🇺🇸 A routine maintenance job turned into a five-hour rescue after a worker was left hanging 130 feet above the ground when the lift he was using broke down atop a gas station sign in Wilmington, Illinois.

Rescuers had to track down a taller lift from a nearby construction site because their own equipment couldn't reach that height.

Illinois State Police escorted it to the scene, and the worker was eventually brought down safely. Amazing job.
