Actual footage of me and Katy Perry on the Blue Origin space flight yesterday.
This is actually footage of the whole journey, it only cost me $11 million dollars. What a steal.
How I made the cover art for my song ‘You Don’t Know Me.’
Because the song was about growth and changing as a person, I wanted to reflect that in the cover art as much as I could by utilizing photos from my past and my hand writing.
Any questions? Ask away!
When I was younger one of my favorite parts of getting a new CD was looking through the booklet that came with it. It would typically have the lyrics for all the songs on the album with some cool photos of the artist/band, and sometimes even a poster.
I would listen to the album in its entirety to get a feel for the initial vibe of each song and the project altogether, taking mental notes on what songs I really resonated right away with and what songs I might need more time with to understand. I’d then listen to it again following along with all the lyrics in the booklet, meticulously trying to burn the lyrics into my memory. Little did I know that this was the first step in learning how to be a songwriter. I wanted to immerse myself in the art and try to understand as much as I could about the song.
Long story short. I don’t really get that experience anymore and neither do most music listeners. So I wanted to share my own digital version of nostalgia with a collection of mini posts of the lyrics to my songs starting with ‘You Don’t Know Me’.
Feel free to read along, ask me my favorite lyric, or completely ignore!

GRWM for a day in the life as the ultimate influencer! I do it all; fit checks, gym life, podcasts, and more, as I navigate our current social media landscape to become a trend copier and chase the elusive title that is so important today, “Influencer”.
.@dannyarcane: "I wrote this at a time I was fed up with the matrix that is our social media identities and all the hate there is online, it made me feel like people only follow others on these platforms to see them fail."

NEW SONG TOMORROW WITH A MUSIC VIDEO.
I make fun of social media, influencers, and try to satisfy my appetite for likes so I can get that sweet, sweet dopamine. If you like Olivia Rodrigo (if she was a guy and in her 30s), Song 2 by Blur (if it was more mild), or Grunge(ish), this song is for you.

IT HAS BEEN A WHILE.
Life has been life-ing. I’ve had to take more breaks/time away than I would have liked from my creative work to adjust to some changes but have finally managed to finish a new song AND music video for you.
‘Following’ is a take on social media and its authenticity. The more I use social media, the more I think about the true nature of what it does and why people use it. It has a huge influence on our society today and I don’t see that changing in the future, but what I do think needs to change is how we use it and how we can figure out ways to use it in a healthy, meaningful way.
And no, the irony is not lost on me making a song criticizing social media and putting it on social media 😂
Out Friday, July 19th.
