@ThomasMcEvoy19 @DrEliDavid@RitaPanahi There is no need to take the words literally. You can interchange woman for man and derive the same meaning. Making this a gender issue risks obscuring the larger point that we (as men and women) have in aggregate grown too comfortable, too soft, too entitled.
@jtburris2@DrEliDavid@joerogan Good point but I think it can apply to countries and by extension to western democracies. Maybe not across all domains but certainly within the economics of debt and money creation.
@ASavvyCat1 @DrEliDavid Really? Throughout our history there have been cyclical trends in our economies and uneven but trending upward steps in our progress. Don’t believe me, read Pinker, or Rosling or Dalios new book on world order.
@biancoresearch This thread looks plausible. How much pain can the FED tolerate? 20,30,40% drawdown in the S+P? 50-70% in tech? I heard @LHSummers say they are trying to gently “break” the market. Has anyone has success gently breaking anything? Not likley.
@PeterHotez Ok but you forgot the part about moving on w life, lifting all restrictions, mandates and dropping pretense that masks are more then 10% effective after our 4th booster.
@prchovanec@Nouriel We are on a slippery slope to mediocrity. If Biden is the best we can do and Harris is plan B, then we are better bet on being lucky.
@Faceplants00@DrJBhattacharya True. My lord this is frustrating. How can CDC not understand there are millions with rel recent infection who are immune and should act accordingly with or without vaccination (based on free choice). I suspect they are smart enough to know but suppress the conclusion.
