@lexineuman2#DCIM353a#TXC20 I really think it's interesting how we all have the same minor for totally different reasons. Many of us want to pursue completely different careers than each other but we're all interested enough in digital media to go through the DCIM route
@BrandonJRUS #DCIM353a#TXC20 I also really think it's interesting to see how students from other schools see their college experiences compared to how we see ours. It really shows how each university creates its own unique culture
@DCIM_JustinA#DCIM353a#TXC20 I would definitely agree that using your own pictures would enhance cross-school tweeting. Your own pictures would let other students see what your school is really like instead of them only seeing the stock photos they'd get from Googling the school
#txc20#dcim353a A piece of advice that I have for other students is to make sure you get your point across as concisely as possible b/c Twitter's character limit is so low. I'd also say to really read through all of your classmates' tweets, not just the top ones
#txc20#dcim353a My primary takeaway from this activity is that each of us can see the same thing in many different ways and this is how we develop own our unique identities. Many people have the same aspiration but for different reasons and this shows our unique values
@AdesojiDcim I've also looked into coding because of an original interest in video games. I think it would be really useful knowing what actually makes the games you're playing tick. #dcim353a#txc20
@JackieSanti1 I'm also interested in marketing. There's so many different ways to approach marketing so you're often able to pursue topics you're genuinely interested in which is why it's so appealing to me. #dcim353a#txc20
@lexineuman2 Internships are a great way to kickstart your professional career. We don't really know what the real world of work is like until we're really in it. #dcim353a#txc20
I aspire to have my professional brand be centered around my passion for sports similar to my personal brand. As a Comm and PR major my dream job would be one day representing a pro sports organization and getting to work in and around the game I love #dcim353a#TXC20
My personal identity is defined by my passion for sports. I've always believed that sports play more than just an entertainment role in people's lives and seeing how badly everyone misses them right now makes me believe so even more. #dcim353a#txc20
@EddyruRachel I agree that making friends in class is a huge help. These friends can often remind you of upcoming assignments and they can serve as another resource when you're struggling with an assignment #dcim353a#txc20
@MahamRU I agree that making sure you have all your work done is a huge benefit here at Rutgers. Most of the time simply turning in your work is enough to significantly boost your grade and improve your chances of succeeding #dcim353a#txc20
@Gabriel57327554 Getting involved is definitely a big part of succeeding and making friends anywhere. With more connections means more opportunities #dcim353a#txc20
The best tip I could give for succeeding at Rutgers is learning how to be more independent and how to use good time management. Many classes at Rutgers are too big for professors to be constantly telling you what to do, so you have to learn to do this on your own #dcim353a#TXC20
@Simran59167897#dcim353a#TXC20 The Yard is a great place to represent Rutgers. Many students spend their free time there and it is one of the prettiest places on campus. When I bring a friend to campus, this is definitely one of the places I want them to see.
@TheFinalHawk#dcim353a#TXC20 The different settings around Rutgers is a huge part of what makes the school unique. All in one school we're able to experience a real city-like vibe and a rural, relaxed setting.
@DCIM_JustinA#dcim353a#TXC20 The crowds and busses are definitely a huge part of Rutgers. Whether or not we actually enjoy them or not, they are still a unique staple in Rutgers campus culture.
#dcim353a#TXC20 I chose this photo of a Rutgers football game because it shows the scale of our school and it also shows how much we take pride in the history and tradition of Rutgers, like how we are "the birthplace of college football"
@MahamRU The history of the internet is definitely a key part of this course because none of our modern forms of digital media would be the same if the internet didn't evolve the way it did. I also think its evolution goes hand in hand with the triple revolution of the 2000s #dcim353a
