My professional/academic identity can be defined by my major and job. I am a public relations major and just recently finished up my fashion pr internship at The Krupp Group. The attached is a photo of our showroom. #DCIM353a#TCX20
Part 4b: my piece of advise to other students would be to respond as much as possible and reply to the replies on your own post. It helps the conversation to continue going then just posting and not following up.

Part 4: My primary takeaway from this activity is learning more about others and their perspectives as it relates to life at Rutgers. I found it interesting to see how people decided to portray their personalities through words and photos as well #DCIM353b#TXC20
@Lijuan_Stella Hi Lijuan,
I love your visuals. I think youre really talented. Thanks for sharing that about yourself. I think there is a lot you could accomplish in a career of UI/UX design! #DCIM353a#TXC20
@RU_JoshuaV Nice post. I like your visual. I personally enjoy watching ice hockey and have thought about taking my pr comm experience to the NHL. #DCIM353a#TXC20
@JordanRoussea14 Hi Jordan,
I am also taking a capstone right now. I am currently researching how social media effects our mental health. Cool project, I like your visuals!#DCIM353a#TXC20
I would say my personal identity is well represented by my love for hiking and exercising. After falling very ill with Lymes disease I have made my health a major priority. #DCIM353a#TXC20
@AmeliaSisto hi Amelia, I think that the Rutgers services are all very important. I personally think career services is a great resource. They are always sending out emails to get involved so why not take a chance and try out some of their events.
@TheFinalHawk Hi, I think this is a great tip. If you're passionate about something it is better and easier to learn. I find that personally when I am interested it is easier for me to learn. #TXC20#DCIM353a
My tip to succeeding at Rutgers is joining as many clubs as you can and applying for opportunities within the university. For example i was apart of CHAARG, Rutgers Econ club, and Rutgers PR club. I was able to make connections, learn career opportunities, etc. #DCIM353a#TXC20
@JordanRoussea14 Hi Jordan,
I agree. It think one of the small things to focus on is joining clubs which is what I discussed in my post. It allows you to meet people, have fun, make business connections, etc. You can also use clubs to explore new hobbies and talents.
I feel this photo depicts the essence of Rutgers for me because it is me with my friends while on a game day, rooting for our school and football team. Game days are a tradition and it is nice to experience it together, especially as seniors this year! #DCIM353a#TXC20
@annahyunjin I think you're right that christensen's theory of disruptive innovations is important due to the way it impacts our businesses. I think it is important to study how new innovations are creating new markets and how that affects our industries and economy.
@MahamRU Hi Maham, I agree and actually wrote a response about the same topics. Here was an explanation I found helpful as well. https://t.co/2uhdPBQVZ5
@RachelDube20 Hi Rachel. Good tip. I agree with you and think Christensen's theory might be on the exam as it applies to what we are learning in class right now. Here is an article I found on it that might help further explain it. https://t.co/aqv93tp4HZ
Some important things to look over for this exam would be the overall history and evolution of the internet. In addition look over triple revolution of the 2000's. In addition studying Chayko and the aspects of Technosocial Life would be beneficial. #DCIM353a
Today's viewing of Catfish showed just how disruptive technology has become. In this case it has completely changed the way people are dating. The couple in the show were "together" for 7 months before identities were revealed on the show. #DCIM353a
