@korpi87 Important caveat: there is a difference between withdrawing Eth rewards and selling those rewards. Many will use that Eth to buy NFT's, swap them for liquid staked Eth, or simply HODL

Ethereum is the oil that makes decentralized finance possible. The potential use cases for smart contracts are staggering, and are only now beginning.
There is no need to choose just one.

The sharding that will happen on Ethereum is data availability sharding (not execution sharding) which means it will drastically reduce fees on L2's (Arbitrum, Optimism, etc) and not on L1
