@BallySportsMW 2011 was amazing! However, 1985 and 1987 were the baseball teams that cemented my love of the game! Vince Coleman on the base paths was my absolute favorite! Only Pujols at the plate is the only thing to rival it!
@lecrae Degree programs were a gracious tool that kept me at the work of learning (not that learning must be in a degree program). I would go back and do all of my degrees again in a heartbeat. Masters level work might be the most fun. Best balance of generalized and specialized.
I remember being told in 5th grade that the distance from the Earth to the Sun was "one astronomical unit." I felt ripped off. Sure, it was easier to remember than "about 93 million miles" or even "8 light minutes," but it seemed so self-referential. (1/13)
@ScottGoodson17 Primary sources are like that. No substitute for reading the actual thing vs stuff about the thing. I’m happy you are using your gifts in study!
@SoupCampbell76 Celtics are my team. They have been since I was a kid. I watch their games, and then also root for anyone playing against the Lakers! 🤮
Great day of learning with the OCU School of Ed faculty! We took a deep dive into assessment literacy and trauma informed ed prep research! Thanks to the Hampton Inn (Airport) EVV site for the hospitality! @OaklandCityU @ocualumnioaks @GoMightyOaks
