Back in the #Cpp20 business. I started tech reviewing the #Deitels' C++20 for Programmers, scheduled for publication this summer. Additionally, I recently started tech reviewing their C How to Program, 9th ed.
I've been going through the 30 C++ Tips in 30 Days by @DannyKalev and there are some gems of wisdom in there. Though around 11 years old, most are still relevant and useful. https://t.co/RAlrDFYXYP π―π―π― #indiedev#ue4
If AI were that clever, Google translate would surely realize that the 'highly unusual traffic' coming from Tallinn University's network is due to an international conference taking place at this venue these days.
@jomsdev Sure. I'm participating in the Societas Linguistica Europeae #SLE51 conference. Tallinn University is our host this year. Quite naturally most of the participants rely on GT to translate Estonian phrases Alas.
When was the last time you used a 1.44" floppy disk? Today I recovered my MA thesis .doc file from a vintage 2004 floppy. I had to purchase a new USB floppy drive for that purpose. Amazingly, the file is still readable.
@_disinterested_ I guess the vagueness is deliberate. The ad which inspired me says "early adopters". The robot has probably been pretested but what that actually amounts to is still not fully specified.
Most pundits wouldn't put it that way but here's a different perspective: Instead of avoiding UB & regarding it a Bad Thing, #AI boils down to nurturing and encouraging UB.
My take on blockchain: a solution waiting for a problem. i.e., another case of 'doing less for more'. On Bitcoin? a bubble, of course, and I'm being mild here.
