If you haven’t read our book, grab one here. We all will contend with Cancer in one way or the other. I wish I would have had words like this before we got there.

If you feel broken, I’ve found that this is the moment a whole new path illuminates. I couldn’t see it either, but my experience is that broken is the token. You’re not alone friend

Words you don’t want to ever say.
“I thought I had more time.”
This is the reality of our lives, we don’t get enough time with our people. Are you distracted? Or showing up presently?
Losing my wife reframed everything for me. If you feel chaotic, let’s chat.
We get so distracted in our lives and it pulls us out of our present moment, and then your person dies and all you have is pictures of moments, and the internal evaluation of how present you were with them. And this is dismantling. Swim in your moments friends.
We’ve really had to reach for joy in this season of losing my wife. I know she would want that for us. I’ve been learning that joy and sadness can live together.
I love the quote
“Man lives 2 lives, the second one begins when he realizes he has only 1.”
We live so distracted. Our distraction dilutes our lives, we become numb and don’t feel the negatives, unknowingly also ceiling positives.
Silence - How long till you go for ur cell?
If you have the good fortune of being in the “Before” and having all your people around you, take a note from a guy who is in the “After” of losing my wife, and appreciate your moments.
We never get enough time with our people.
