Both are just a means to qualify for the All Ireland Series.

Could have easily tweaked it & made the "jeopardy" argument work - ie whichever teams win 1st round of group games play each other in 2nd round. Then at least 1 of the 3rd round games would have something on the line

The ones who missed the boat were probably players who didn't get offers which is unfortunate as they are the ones who could use the guaranteed income

It was understandable for the "lesser" players to go but Rahm, Bryson etc are not short of money
