Found the treatment of the Fletcher twins by many people talking about them yesterday to be utterly reprehensible. You can say Academy players aren't ready for the first team or need a loan without cheap accusations of nepotism, getting personal or abuse.

I think the Fletchers had a perfectly OK game. Especially in the press and defensively.

What never comes across on a TV is just how fast the game is for a player on the pitch. When there was that counter attack and a pass attempt was made to Zirkzee, Nuno Mendes was chasing from behind and Marquinhos broke up the pass.

You need to grow into that tempo. Like a younger winger can come in and try to dribble his FB. But CMs often need more time.

Think these kids need a couple of more years and preferably a loan before we can start to really evaluate them.
