Thanks for coming @IngramRoad and for lending us your field - we had a gorgeous time in Leeds and the sun came out for our second performance.

Inspired by the work of @lifeexperiencep The composers and poets forum concert was a collaboration dream. The leeds song book @LeedsLieder & my poem King was transformed by the incredible composer, mentor @dannysaleeb the rich voice of @mxwllhydetenor & the magic of @EdPictonT
Love being a part of this @LeedsLieder with inspiration taken by the work of @lifeexperiencep and thank you for coming to the morning workshop and music by @dannysaleeb
leeds songbook, and poets and composers are practising. Can't wait to hear it tonight 👏 #InspirationalStory
https://t.co/UyGbyk96MO. Thanks @SaraMohrPietsch for this great overview of our @LeedsLieder Songbook (29.30 in). Poets of Leeds writing about people of Leeds, set to music by postgrad composers & sung/played by Leeds Lieder Young Artists in June🙌@dannysaleeb@Daltonharrison9
So proud on Friday to represent @sheffmusicacad sitting with Jacob Jordan at @yorkearlymusic as he was announced the winner of the 18 & Under category of the NCEM Young Composers Award! A treat to hear The English Cornett & Sackbut Ensemble—can’t wait to hear it on @BBCRadio3!🤩
A lot of apocalyptic anxiety about AI at the moment, but … on the bright side, I’ve just been having the most satisfying Socratic chat with GPT-4. Not sure what the future holds for my kids, but they’re going to learn stuff quickly at least!
Our wonderful youth choir from #Newham@New_YVC are as one voice about the proposed cuts to @BBCSingers, the internationally acclaimed group with which they’ve worked many times as part of BBC outreach in East London #WeAreTheBBCSingers
In 2019 @dannysaleeb was invited to write the #JAMontheMarsh Festival Commission. We are thrilled that ‘Soliloquy’ will now receive it’s London premiere on Tue 21/03.
The piece is set to a poem by Chloe Stopa-Hunt and a response to Shakespeare's King Richard II’s soliloquy.
I have called for a debate in Parliament on the appalling decision to axe @BBCSingers & cut 20% of @BBCSO, @BBCCO & @BBCPhilharmonic jobs.
This will have devastating consequences for the musicians affected & for the sector
Now is the time to be speaking up for classical music.
