@RickSteves Frankfurt ‘09. Aged 19 me & 3 friends were turned away from an underground club as I had white pumps on. Walking back to hotel & ended up in a backstreet pub on the city outskirts. 4 hours we stayed, joining a 40th birthday party - best night out ever & not what we had planned.
