@UBlockDale1907 From all named realistic options (ruling out Challinor and Garrard) Watson would be my preferred choice. In the same way McNulty deserves his jump from 2nd in NL to League 1 playoff level, Watson from 2nd in NLN to a new League 2 side makes a lot of sense to me.
@JoeShieldsMag1@AlwaysReadySSFC@SouthShieldsFC We've just come off saying the same thing about McNulty to Stockport before it was confirmed. Hope if it's happening that it's quick for both yours and our sake.
@GabSutton@RochdaleFan@RochdaleAFCcom Obviously done great for us. If he's given a fair crack he should do well and you'll grow to enjoy the 'one more pass' style of play and coaching manual buzzword interviews. Big test for him now to fight at the top end of League One and he's certainly earned the shot at it.
@LewisWild10@Feeney1992x@officiallydale A statement about giving another club permission to speak to their under contract member of staff wouldn't damage anything. It would be quite good communication to the fans they are currently selling season tickets to. Too late now anyway we just await the official confirmation.
@bayleeM9_ As he's under contract, it would be nice to see a "We can confirm that Stockport County have been given permission to speak to Manager Jim McNulty" type statement wouldn't it... rather than the inevitable "He has left the club"
