Well, I wanna die an old man, messed up stories of me and all my old friends & laugh about how we all thought it won't end, how we all wind up where we begin
BREAKING: Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw wrote “Genesis 9:12-16” on his ‘pride’ hat.
12 And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations:
13 I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
14 When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds,
15 I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
16 When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” Genesis 9:12-16 ESV

After a day of reflection, here is where I am…
My opinion is that UT is a good football team. We are likely the 5th best football team in the SEC on a neutral field. I would take Ole Miss and Alabama to beat us not in Neyland. We ended up the 3rd best team in the SEC because we had a schedule that allowed us to have the games we needed to win in Neyland Stadium. People can say what they want, after experiencing Ohio Stadium, it is evident that Neyland stadium is worth 10 points for Tennessee. We were seeded correctly at 9. That’s what we deserve. Ohio State is not an 8. They are the best roster in college football and played with their food against Michigan and unfortunately fell to an 8. Tennessee (a good 9 seed) got Ohio State on their home field at night after 3 weeks of them being told they suck and the team having to circle the wagons. It is what it is. Bad draw. But I refuse to believe because we lost that game, we “suck”. Every team in the field would have lost Saturday night the way that team was clicking in all cylinders. It was a 9 seed playing the true 1 seed on the road.
That being said, I’ll take losing December 21st in the College Football Playoff over beating some middle pack Big 10 team Jan 1 in the Outback bowl.
And before the “coping” posts come, I’m not whining. We got the draw we got. We got disemboweled by Ohio State. There’s no denying it, but I believe all the other teams would have Saturday night, too. It will be interesting to see if Ohio State plays with that same fire in the Rose Bowl.
Credit to Mike Tyson, we’ve been tuning in to him being washed up for over 2 decades now while convincing ourselves that maybe he’ll catch him with one clean one. That’s a legacy
It’s not very easy to shock Joe Rogan but that’s exactly what happened when they played this eerily accurate prediction from 1965 on how to destroy the fabric of society.
It has all been planned.
