Tentara Aceh di Mekkah: Jejak Lintas Lautan Demi Tanah Suci 🕋
Mekkah, Abad ke-19 – Di tengah pasir panas Jazirah Arab, suara langkah-langkah gagah para pejuang dari timur jauh terdengar menggema. Mereka bukan suku Arab, bukan pula pasukan Ottoman. Mereka adalah tentara dari Kesultanan Aceh Darussalam, yang datang dari ujung barat Nusantara. Tujuan mereka bukan penaklukan—melainkan perlindungan terhadap kota suci Mekkah dan para jamaah haji dari negerinya.
Sejarah mencatat, Kesultanan Aceh pernah mengirim pasukan ke Mekkah pada pertengahan abad ke-19. Saat itu, kondisi keamanan di wilayah Hijaz tengah terganggu oleh serangan kelompok-kelompok perampok Badui dan instabilitas lokal. Pemerintah Hijaz yang berada di bawah kekuasaan Kekhalifahan Ottoman menerima tawaran bantuan dari Sultan Aceh, yang mengirimkan sekitar 150 hingga 200 prajurit pilihan untuk menjaga keamanan kawasan suci dan mengawal jamaah asal Asia Tenggara.
Para tentara Aceh dikenal dengan keberanian, kedisiplinan, dan semangat jihad yang tinggi. Kehadiran mereka disambut hangat, terutama oleh komunitas Muslim Jawi (sebutan bagi Muslim asal Nusantara di Mekkah). Beberapa dari mereka bahkan memutuskan untuk tinggal di Mekkah setelah tugas selesai, menikah dan menjadi bagian dari komunitas Jawi yang saat itu berkembang pesat sebagai pusat pendidikan dan dakwah.
Kisah ini menjadi bukti nyata bahwa hubungan Aceh dan Mekkah lebih dari sekadar hubungan spiritual. Ini adalah ikatan solidaritas politik dan militer, yang menunjukkan peran besar Aceh dalam sejarah Islam global. Di saat bangsa-bangsa lain sibuk membangun koloni, Aceh justru hadir sebagai pelindung Tanah Suci.
Kini, di tengah riuh rendah modernisasi, kisah tentang "tentara Aceh di Mekkah" menjadi pengingat bahwa Aceh pernah berdiri sejajar dengan kekuatan-kekuatan besar dunia Islam, dan bahwa dari Nusantara pernah berlayar pasukan kecil dengan semangat besar: menjaga tanah suci umat.

Real Reasons why Gaddafi was killed

7. If they cannot receive treatment in Libya, the state would fund them $2300+ accommodation & travel for treatment abroad.
8. If you bought a car, the government finances 50% of the price.
9. The price of gasoline became $ 0.14 per liter.
10. Libya had no external debt, and reserves were $150 Billion (now frozen worldwide)
11. Since some Libyans can't find jobs after school, the government will pay the average salary when they can't find a job.
