I'm honestly getting sick of places saying "we don't have access as we're a Grade 1 listed building". So is St Paul's & they have amazing access. Shut up using excuses & start making changes. & councils start understanding your legal requirements to support the changes.

I tweeted about digital exclusion and how older people (and people with brain injuries & disabilities) are locked out of healthcare services because of multiple complicated apps. This is one of the demands on my mum’s GP app. She has no idea how to film & upload her face.

@LeahFHardy Up to four years ago I worked in IT at Rotherham NHS trust and the director of IT was obsessed with turning everything in the hospital and all the GP surgeries digital. Never mind that hospital staff regularly complained that they couldn't use the tech.
