They almost always have complete vote counts done on election night.
It’s not enough to just “be scared”. That’s subjective fear.
You also need to be able to articulate objective fear. That is to say, circumstances where a reasonable person would feel the same level of fear.
I could say a I was in fear of my life from an aggressive chipmunk, and that subjective emotional response could not be legally refuted. But it would not be a reasonable fear, and thus I couldn’t shoot it and claim self defense.

It would not surprise me at all if somebody were paying these morons to try and provoke a violent response.
It could be argued that being under a shelter belonging to and erected by someone else without permission constitutes theft, trespassing, or both. Non-deadly force is lawfully permitted to protect property from theft or to terminate a trespass in practically every jurisdiction on the US.
