@pibarrister A bit drastic to leave the country! Rooney’s kept Argyle up once already (albeit by taking Birmingham down).

This is not a great photo but my view is, if the hotel was good enough for Woodrow Wilson, it’s good enough for me. Not sure if he had a Corby trouser press.
Dog show at the Carnival today. After last year’s suboptimal result in the “Happiest Dog” class, I’m hoping for better luck in “Best Trick”. Introducing the latest superhero: Toffee the Wonder Dog!
Democratic duty done. A few years ago I asked the children if they wanted to come and see me vote. They were surprisingly enthusiastic. But when we got to the community centre they looked around and asked where the boat was.
@RhysTaylor32 Good to hear, Rhys. I had an excellent 2 days in Mansfield recently. The ushers couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. And free parking. #Triptocourtadvisor
@pankp007 Envious. Just make your phone’s on silent - they threatened to chuck out the next person whose phone goes off. PS Selby not conceding when he needed 4 snookers is a bit like the opponent who takes every point…
Which one’s not the April Fool: the massive B in the bedroom, the tin of brown E’s, the leek in the basin or the 2 day FR final hearing pulled at the last minute as there’s no judge?
Had to pinch my 13 year old’s socks. My Spidey senses accurately predicted the day would end in written submissions. But I’ve still got two train journeys home to be able to do something heroic. PS I’m Thor tomorrow.
Printer down. My rule has been, if you send a Position Statement on the day of a hearing, you should as a matter of courtesy produce at least one paper copy for your opponent. However, at £11 for up to 10 pages my less expensive rule is to wear a white shirt in court.
