@ReinBerglund What a disaster of a fantasy weekend for Leclerc. Final fix was the way to go and buying back and holding onto Antonelli for the rest of the season.
☢️Toxic Assets in F1 Fantasy for the Saudi Arabian GP☢️
Barring massive performances this weekend, the following drivers and constructors are set to fall in price for #F1Fantasy at the #SaudiArabianGP
🅰️Tier Assets
- Lando Norris
- Max Verstappen
- Charles Leclerc
- Lewis Hamilton
- Kimi Antonelli
Cards on the table, ZERO of these assets will fall unless they DNF, but they aren't going to bag us a max price rise either. Norris, Verstappen, and Leclerc need 45+ points for the $0.3m rise. If you're playing your LL 🍟 chip, then by all means, go for them. However, I don't love them for anyone setting up for LL in Miami or Imola.
🅱️Tier Assets
- Yuki Tsunoda
- Carlos Sainz
- Lance Stroll
- Nico Hulkenberg
- Liam Lawson
- Jack Doohan
Sainz and Hulk are the only shoe-ins for a max price fall this weekend. Everyone else should settle in the $0.2m fall category. Albon, Gasly, Ocon, and Alonso could be on this list too, but they all have scores within reach of a minimum price rise, so I'm not declaring them "toxic" for Jeddah.
@MattP1Tommy DOTD. Although I am a mega LH44 fan for life, I believe other drivers were more deserving of the vote. Maybe good for F1, but horrible for #F1Fantasy.
🇸🇬 My preferred lineup foundations for Singapore:
📊 FER MCL + two of NOR/PIA/LEC/SAI
Why I like it: Piastri showed, again, the ceiling of the McLaren and Lando’s powerhouse drive into the points from P15 to P4 demonstrated they are the deserved favourites once again with this pace.
With Norris, Piastri and Leclerc now all in the A Tier based on a string of good results, prioritising points over building budget is a sound approach.
FER/MCL constructor pairing looks the strongest still. Sainz won here last year and these teams have won four of the last five races.
The only hesitation I have with owning Sainz here is that it creates more transfer headaches if you’re planning for the 3x in COTA. LEC/PIA are much better options to pair with NOR on this chip.
💰 MER MCL NOR PIA
Why I like it: this is a lineup I will be considering for Singapore, pending practice, to set my team up for a possible 3x at COTA (or Brazil two races later).
This a lineup that is more conducive to slightly lower budget teams (~$122m) that want to use the 3x on both McLaren drivers and also own the constructor without running the risk of being priced out of this lineup before COTA.
If your plan is to use the 3x in Brazil or Qatar (for budget or strategic reasons), then running Ferrari a bit longer is could be a better strategy than Mercedes.

🛞 Autopilot, No Negative and Final Fix are reasonable insurance policies against the weather and DNF history. This track averages 5 DNFs per race over the last two years and is expected to contend with unpredictable weather in the lead up to and during the weekend.
⚙️ For your remaining driver slot(s):
Fill your team with these drivers based on what you have leftover in your cost cap.
🥇 Albon, Colapinto
👌🏽 Magnussen, Hulkenberg
🤷🏻♂️ Ricciardo, Ocon, Gasly, Tsunoda
🤮 Bottas, Zhou
