On the left is a tweet by the racist anti-immigration activist Sheffi Paz targeting one of our Solidarity Guard activists who was in the Old City on Jerusalem Day to provide protective presence. On the right is Chayaโs response. (1/3)
@AdlerYonatan@DavidRegev To do with chimutz, Rambam view, time to walk 1 mil versus 4 mil (which is roughly 1h22mins assuming 18 mins per mil) and differences between Palestinian and Babylonian Talmud (in haste and with a Pesach cleaning addled brain)
"Muskโs brand of White genocide conspiracy theory nonsense was once found only in the darkest corners of the internet. Now he has mainstreamed it, and heโs pulling people down a rabbit hole that can lead to horrifically bad places." -Rex Huppke in USA Today on the richest man in the world's unapologetic promotion of white supremacist talking points

As Ramadan begins, our homeland is bleeding. Families are suffering from violence, displacement, and the absence of safety. This month calls us to choose solidarity and partnership over fear. May we see true safety, freedom, and a just peace for all who live here. Ramadan Kareem.
๐จDue to the regime cutting off the internet last 5 days messages coming out of Iran have decreased by 99% - this one made it through.
The scale of civilian massacre is far beyond what has been reported. The figure of 12,000 killed is described as โalmost a jokeโ compared to the magnitude of the catastrophe that has taken place.
The regime in Iran have carried out widespread and systematic deadly violence. โIt is a massacre beyond human imagination".
There are subtitles so please go to the end. It is still happening. Please share widely.

โThe lecture on Gaza was not easy. The room was tense. People struggled to accept the reality we described.โ
Last week we gave a series of lectures at the Limmud conference in London. Limmud is one of the most significant annual events in Jewish education. We talked about our military service and personal stories, the two legal systems existing in the West Bank, and the IDFโs doctrine of disproportionate destruction used in Gaza, the Dahiya Doctrine.
โPeople found it hard to believe that the Dahiya Doctrine was real, but we did not invent itโ, said Inbal Morag, our education coordinator. It is a doctrine formulated by Gadi Eizenkot, former Chief of General Staff. Its objective is to impose disproportionate violence and destruction on civilian infrastructure to โbuy timeโ before the next round of fighting. This policy traps us in an ever-amplifying cycle of violence.
Education is an integral part of our theory of change. Thatโs why we will not stop speaking out against the occupation: in Israel and abroad. The instinct within the Jewish diaspora is often to side with the Israeli policy. However, there cannot be a peaceful and prosperous future for Israel unless the occupation is abolished.
I am shocked by the horrific attack against the Jewish community in Australia. This is an antisemitic attack that targeted Jews because they are Jews. There is no place for antisemitism in the world and there is no place for violence against any community. This is heartbreaking๐
At a time when divisions are rising across the world, coming together in the spirit of community to celebrate our shared values has never been more important.
For Mitzvah Day, I joined Jewish, Muslim & Christian colleagues to prepare boxes for Londoners facing food insecurity.
@implausibleblog@Keir_Starmer@ShabanaMahmood But they are a minority (Neturei Karta) of a minority (ultra orthodox anti Zionists) of a minority (haredi Jews) of a minority (all orthodox Jews) of the minority of Jews left in the world now
Not Jewish communal leaders
