Searsy’s Back Where He Belongs 🧡🖤
We’re excited to announce that Dan Sears has returned to Stotfold FC, re-joining the club from AFC Welwyn.
The 25-year-old centre-back is no stranger to The Fold. Searsy played a key role in the club’s rise through the divisions — winning the league at Step 6, securing playoff promotion from Step 5, and helping the team to a 7th-place finish in our first season at Step 4.
After gaining Step 3 experience with Hitchin Town and a recent spell with AFC Welwyn, he now returns as a commanding, reliable presence who will once again enhance the backline.
Welcome home, Searsy! 🧡🖤
@biggazmort It’s called loyalty you absolute tool. He brought me into non league so I have returned favours and been loyal to him, What’s the problem there?

Hear what Brett had to say “In what we anticipated to be a tough game it was proved to be. Kings Langley will be up the top end of the table and we showed we could be as well with our best performance of the season. We had lacked a little bit of energy in some of our games but last night showed that we can mix it with the top sides. In fact we should have probably taken all 3 points as we had the better chances and the bulk of possession. Sadly, we are just struggling to get the ball in the net. Saying that Coree was superb up top aided by Uz, Kade and ky. We defended really well when we needed to and finally kept a cleano. Germaine and Searsy marshalled the back line and Searsy rightfully won mom. He was back to his best.
Gutted we have a break now. But gives us time to recover and work on scoring goals!”
