@CulchieDub @Luas Door still closed on child. Only difference would be parent left on platform while children were on tram. Also, many families have more than 1 child, buggies etc; other countries' public transport systems can cater safely for families. Ours should too.

@Luas Milltown at 13:08 today, the doors closed before my 4 yo could get on. His fingers were nearly trapped in the door and he was left on the platform. Why did the doors close before everyone had finished boarding? If child safety is a priority for you, how does this happen?

@Luas Please train your drivers to wait until all passengers have safely cleared the doors before closing them. They just closed as I was boarding Tram 5009 with my 4 year old child.
