January to March in #screenwriting . A feature, a pilot, and two shorts. Spurred on by @davechensky and @Massawyrm's Write Along podcast, I've been aiming to write everyday, and holding these in my hands makes me really proud of how much has gone into them.
Had the opportunity to attend a screening of #BoilingPoint with a Q&A from @PhilipBarantini. Not only was it great to learn about the magic that went into the film but also really inspiring to hear the story and influences of the man himself. On Netflix now, go watch.
The 2021 films wot I watched in some semblance of order.
I didn’t manage to see everything I wanted to and I’ve been swapping the order almost every day for the past 365 so my opinion is very very subject to change, but here’s a rough idea to get started…
Spending the month living in a hotel in Nottingham whilst working on a new drama series - today I discovered the gorgeous @BroadwayCinema and caught Licorice Pizza in 35mm. This weekend they have Boogie Nights and The 400 Blows. I'm gonna enjoy my stay.
Day 7: Dan Sierwald (@dansierwald) - Maybe I'm biased cause I've known him for 14 years, but Dan is one of the most passionate, committed, and skilled people I know in this industry. Date Jà Vu, Echoes, Girl of Your Dreams, Nancy, Before the Call - we've worked on a lot together!
