Anyone have good experience with an electric grill? My building doesn't allow gas grills (insurance reasons, nothing with a flame).
Considering getting electric, but struggling to imagine when I would use that instead of just the stove.
@fitzpoker Playing very few events. Taxes + just don't really want to play in the Horseshoe when it's 110 degrees in Vegas.
Might catch the itch and fly out at some point.
@rumnchess@Kevmath You don't want a system where even the best player the world is -ev buying in late, which imo happens when you buyin with 20bb and auto post BB + ante first hand.
I think the bigger issue like pads has been discussing is just reg open too long. But it makes the venue money.
People are already asking about WSOP fantasy?!?!?! Even by my standards I'll be playing a light schedule.
Plan is to do two trips, one for 50k, 100k, 250k, and a second trip around the 10k 8game and Main event and whatever postlims. Always possible I get sucked into WSOP vortex with 25k plo , PPC etc.
Have a very niche question for double up drive, need to consult a non profit tax attorney. Someone wants to donate a % of their hedge fund and we are unsure how to proceed/if that is something we can do without losing 501c3.
Any leads please message [email protected]
While I agree it is theoretically possible for some, I personally wouldn’t encourage anyone to try it these days. Even ignoring the tax situation (which is brutal)it’s just way less lucrative for 99.9% than it used to be.
I feel making $250k/year in EV used to be relatively easy and now it’s not
@JeffreyBenson12@CircaSports For a bet such as Aussie Open semi's, how much would you take there? In particular I saw a line on straight sets win but wouldn't want to drive for tiny action.
@drynyks No, they are risking less $ for a chance at a payout. As you rebuy , you are buying more chances at a cost. It's fair
People who play from the beginning are getting a bit "diluted" though by the max late reggers coming in with 12.5bb
@drynyks I think allowing lots of reentries with shallow stacks is bad for the game in lots of ways, including just having an enjoyable experience. IMO it's one of the biggest issues right now with poker.
If someone wants to get in for 10 bullets by getting in 50+bb, I say let them.
