@rkabushenga @ysaveorg @rkabushenga The group MUST have a vision and leaders who are visionary. Proffesionalising the groups operations will allow the funds to grow and sustain the group

@rkabushenga @ysaveorg #360Mentor @ysaveorg @rkabushenga People need to know that life is a journey and the different stages we go through our lives will require financial resources to achieve some of our plans. A group like Y-Save will help people be able to raise/plan for these resources.

[Danstan Kisuule @DanstanKisuule]

@rkabushenga @ysaveorg @rkabushenga It is about starting when you are at any stage in your life. For us it started when we were young, thus the "Y". Building Y-Save required Gods hand/direction,trust,commitment,planning, professionalism & running it as a business and not a welfare scheme#360Mentor@ysave

.@DanstanKisuule thank you for agreeing to be a #360Mentor! We look forward to learning from your insights. The @nssfug in its #CCW2021 is driving savings. How can cash strapped working families that are hard up save from modest earnings?

[Y-Save @ysavecoop]

Join @DanstanKisuule CEO of @ysaveorg today Mon 25th Oct hosted by @rkabushenga as a #360Mentor

[Danstan Kisuule @DanstanKisuule]

@rkabushenga @nssfug They need to understand that saving is a discipline. They also need to understand that there is no money/salary that is enough. The best way to handle our resources which are scarce is to budget for them @ysaveorg #360mentor @nssf

@SNtezi @DopeboyBazil @WatotoYA @watotochurch Hi Samuel, it should mainly be savings. We should avoid using other income sources to carter for our emergencies, otherwise they will get crippled and not expand/grow, as they are meeting emergencies.#AskDanstan @DanstanKisuule

[Danstan Kisuule @DanstanKisuule]

@WatotoYA Thank you for the opportunity to shares Read Prov 13 Vs 11. May God Bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine on your lives and finances. May Holy Spirit guide you as you make financial decisions. In Jesus' name we pray Amen #AskDanstan

@DopeboyBazil @WatotoYA That is another area people can consider to invest in. Stock Exchange is really buying shares in listed companies. In Uganda we have not more than 20 companies listed e.g. UMEME, NIC ,etc... U have to see a Stock Brokerage company to help you to invest in the shares.#AskDanstan

[Danstan Kisuule @DanstanKisuule]

@DopeboyBazil @WatotoYA 1. The type of Investment e.g. farming trade, shop
2. Source of funds(Money) for the investment.
3. Length of period for investment e.g. 1 year, 5 years or over 10 years
4. Kind of returns for the investment
5. How will the investment be managed
#AskDanstan

[Danstan Kisuule @DanstanKisuule]

@OlgaNaomi2 @WatotoYA When you put money on some accounts e.g. savings Account, you are promised an interest rate e.g. 6% PA (Per Annum) i.e. per year. So if you put in 1,000,000 Shs, you will recieve in this case eran an interest of 60,000 Shs.#AskDanstan

[Danstan Kisuule @DanstanKisuule]

@franciskitya @DopeboyBazil @WatotoYA Whenever we get into investments the first rule should be safety of the investment and not the return. No one wants to lose their money. But going back to our point right now in Uganda they are one of the cases of investments that you are sure you will get a return.#AskDanstan

[Danstan Kisuule @DanstanKisuule]

@OlgaNaomi2 @WatotoYA The best solution is to make a saving of 10% of whatever you get. Put it somewhere it is not easily accessible & where you can earn an interest on it.#AskDanstan

[Danstan Kisuule @DanstanKisuule]

@mwine_nyanzi There are 2 ways at looking at loans. The one who is borrowing & the one who is lending. For the one who is lending, lend money that u can afford 2 forfeit also Avoid lending to strangers and acquaintances. If people ask u 4 help who are not close 2 you, it is better u give them

[Danstan Kisuule @DanstanKisuule]

@OlgaNaomi2 @WatotoYA The answer is yes. But also when you save, please make sure that you don'y put all the money away into investments. Make sure that you remain with some money on you for any eventualities that might come up.#AskDanstan

[Danstan Kisuule @DanstanKisuule]

@DopeboyBazil @WatotoYA If you need to start a savings group u need to all be like minded. Get people who think more of long term not short term i.e. over 5 years. Get someone who will be the leader of the group. U must have some one whom you all trust who will keep the finances of the group.#AskDanstan
