@Pontifex@TweetsbyHenry Such a level of accountability, honesty and transparency from a global leader is profound. Certain national , spiritual leaders can learn a lot. As leaders our lives are intertwined with our people, we have to keep them in the know to avoid second guessing
Dear friends, during some recent medical examinations, the doctors found a small, localized nodule in my lung. It was detected at a very early stage and is well-localized. The doctors believe that it is best to intervene, so, following their advice, I have decided to undergo surgery to remove it. The operation is already scheduled to take place in the coming days. I thank you for your spiritual closeness and entrust myself to your prayers.
Honoured to Serve: Sworn in as Chairperson, Bamutakudde Village. Let the work begin.
Yesterday I was officially sworn in as the duly elected Chairperson of Bamutakudde Village, Ddundu Parish, Kyampisi Subcounty, Mukono District, Mukono North Constituency.
I took the oath to defend the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda and to serve the people of Bamutakudde without fear or favour, so help me God.
What humbled me most was the community itself. A multitude of residents who escorted me from the subcounty headquarters back to the village with joy, songs and excitement. It was a powerful sign of trust and collective hope for the next five years.
In my first address, I shared our Bamutakudde Model Village Strategic Plan 2026-2031, our community-owned roadmap to transform Bamutakudde into a thriving, self-reliant Model Village.
Our vision is anchored on 5 pillars: healthy, educated people; prosperous households; water, sanitation and environment; safe and cohesive community; and accountable governance.
My commitment for the next five years is clear: evidence-based leadership, household-level transformation, transparency, and strategic partnerships that deliver measurable results.
The Plan is aligned to Uganda's Parish Development Model (PDM), NDP IV and the SDGs.
I am grateful for the trust and I am ready for the work ahead.
Our Village. Our Responsibility. Our Future.

I’d like to plug my tax accountant @Bennett_tax_sch Honestly, I sleep soundly at night knowing that every month, my compliance is done so that I can focus on the business that pays me. I have not stepped foot once in that Nakawa tower since I engaged her. She’s running a tax clinic where you can find out more.
Rest is Not Passivity
Rest doesn’t mean doing nothing.
Work. Plan. Save. Give. Make wise decisions.
But don’t carry what only God can control.

Your salary is not your source.
Your business is not your source.
Your connections are not your source.
God is your Source.
The rest are instruments through which He provides.

I made a prompt that turns any idea into a plan using Walt Disney's three-room method.
One of Disney's animators said there were three different Walts: the dreamer, the realist, and the spoiler, and you never knew which one was walking into the meeting. He kept them apart on purpose, the story goes in three separate rooms, because if the critic is in the room while you're dreaming, nothing gets dreamed.
It works just as well on a business idea, a trip, a house move, or the side project you keep not starting.
Paste this into your AI and answer honestly.
---
You are running Walt Disney's three-room method with me.
My idea: [describe it in a sentence or two]
Take me through three rooms, one at a time, and don't let the next room in until the current one is finished.
Room one is the Dreamer. Ask me what this looks like if it works completely, with no budget, no rules, and nobody saying no. Push me to go bigger twice.
Room two is the Realist. Ask me what it would take to make the dream real: the steps, the people, the money, and the first thing that has to happen.
Room three is the Critic. Ask me what's missing, what could go wrong, and who would hate it, and make me answer each one.
Then give me:
1. The dream in one sentence, the biggest version
2. The plan in five steps, with a first step I can do this week
3. The three biggest holes the critic found, and a fix for each
4. Which room I spent the least time in, because that's the one I always skip
Rules: never criticize in the dreamer room, never dream in the critic room, and if I start arguing with the critic, write the objection down and move on.
---
The separate rooms are the Disney part. Most people run all three voices at once, and the critic always wins, which is why the idea stays an idea.
Bookmark this for the next idea you've been carrying around for a month.
Also, going by this breakdown, @nssfug remains a predominantly elites & formal sector workers’ savings scheme. It needs to figure out how to penetrate the informal sector, where majority workers are, if it is to be nationally representative. #AMM2026.
I hosted an event that raised a modest $3.5 BILLION in 90 minutes at the UN General Assembly in New York! 🤯
It will fund education in 90 lower-income countries so that no child is left behind. My mom was a teacher in rural Kenya so this historic “harambee” is personal to me
! 🇺🇬
NSSF has declared its highest ever interest rate 22.53% for members, with UGX 5.44T to be credited to savers.
This is a timely reminder that NSSF is more than a statutory deduction it is part of an employee’s long term financial wellbeing.
Compliance + financial literacy + consistent saving = better employee security.
