Monmouth always shows out on big days and I’m proud of my home track… @MonmouthPark is a real gem of the sport and they know how to throw a party. On a rainy day the energy was infectious through the raindrops. Big crowd, happy crowd, can’t wait to do it again next year! 2/2

@PapaBeez Haskell day they did that a few years ago… it was unusually hot and they ended up runing a few races early, taking 5 hours off, and running the stakes late with like an 8:15 post time for the Haskell

100% my jam. The better reform to direct election would have been a requirement that each state legislature themselves sent 2 of the own members as 'delegates' to the Senate, to represent the interests of the states - the way it was intended. That solves the 'railroad baron' problem that caused the 17th to be proposed in the first place.

Even highly politically engaged folks that I know have little knowledge of their State Senators and State Assemblymen. Putting more emphasis on the composition of that branch of government in the eyes of the voters can only help.

Cap casualty for VGK, and if he was going to end up anywhere, the Rangers are a perfect spot as far as I’m concerned 👍

Also great on GMKM for getting 2 1st rounders for an expiring contract they couldn’t resign anyway. Win/Win for both teams.

@LasVegasLocally Happened to me…. Not in Vegas but in Jersey. Couldn’t control the landing and hit a tree top that killed our momentum and we tumbled down. Lucky nobody was seriously hurt or killed!

But operator said the same thing… “Hard Landing” but don’t call it a crash…. Never again!

Something about rookies in big spots having nothing to lose. You think it’s an easier opponent, then you find out…
