@CalfChat@IonMoraruDairy Ok or maybe get away with a bit less milk? Or feed the same but maybe get more growth? I don’t know the right answer but the concept of saving energy or using it all strictly for growth instead of keeping warm is how I think of it.

Saw incredible grit in Abbotsford today, as farmers and community members rallied to rescue dozens of cattle stranded by #bcflood with boats, dinghies, a jet ski and even a hover craft. Heard these scenes were playing out across the valley.
