@FBAsavage@A_Riggo24@FDSportsbook It’s not impossible but it’s false hope. The fan base is still struggling to get over it and they’re coping by holding onto this.
@thisissharrieff@rvcemymind@ajclassicjr It wasn’t tho. Buying the physical album was the only way you could listen to new music back in the day now you can just stream it. It’s harder to sell albums now than it was back then.
@thisissharrieff@rvcemymind@ajclassicjr The problem with that is you would have to steam the album over 2500 times for it to even count as a full album sell. It’s not as easy as you think.
@thisissharrieff@rvcemymind@ajclassicjr It doesn’t tho 2500 streams counts as 1 album sell it isn’t easier to sell more in the streaming era. Sales are lower now than they were back then and Music has not gotten any less popular.
@thisissharrieff@rvcemymind@ajclassicjr Country grammar came out over a decade before take care did and they sold about the same so that should tell you everything you need to know. What do you think those numbers will look like another decade from now?
@WayOfMiguel@bron23xgoat Thats what makes the situation so unfortunate. They realistically need 2-3 years to built up this roster but will most likely try to get it done as quick as possible. Will it work out? Who know. But with teams like okc, spurs, and pistons only getting better it’s gonna be hard.
@bron23xgoat@WayOfMiguel Can’t really blame rob Lakers don’t have any assets to trade. lakers really aren’t in a good position unfortunately. Probably another 2-3 years of roster construction before I can realistically see them as a contender
