Palestinian photojournalist Alaa Al-Sous, from occupied Jerusalem, shared a testimony on Instagram recalling how an Israeli occupation soldier violently assaulted her at the Al-Aqsa compound despite her doing nothing.

The footage of the attack went viral locally and internationally, prompting Israeli police to pressure her into filing a formal complaint.

Three years later, Al-Sous says she finally received the outcome: the soldier was fully acquitted.

🇮🇱🇱🇧🇵🇸 Israel is now claiming Hamas is operating inside Lebanon and has begun striking targets in Ain al-Hilweh, one of the region’s most densely packed Palestinian refugee camps.

The IDF says it hit a “Hamas training compound,” but this is a massive escalation if true because Ain al-Hilweh isn’t Hamas territory. It’s controlled by Fatah factions and local militias, and Lebanon’s security services treat any foreign militant presence as a direct threat to sovereignty.

If Israel is reframing southern Lebanon as a Hamas sanctuary, it’s pretext-building. It blurs the line between the Gaza war and the Lebanon front, and turns a refugee camp into a battlefield for a second war Israel has been hinting at for months.

Beirut has already warned that any Israeli expansion beyond Hezbollah into Palestinian camps is a red line.

If the IDF is now officially declaring “Hamas in Lebanon,” then we are moving into extremely dangerous territory, the kind that turns a border conflict into a regional war.

Israeli lawyer Ben Marmareli has stated that he has seen firsthand the signs of systemic rape and sexual torture of Palestinian clients in Israeli detention facilities.

He made these claims after meeting a client and described the facilities as "torture camps".
According to reports, the Israel Prison Service (IPS) filed a complaint with the Bar Association against Marmareli, accusing him of "incitement" following his statements.

Marmareli's claims are among many made by other human rights lawyers and organizations that have documented widespread abuse, torture, and sexual violence against Palestinian detainees since October 2023. Reports from the UN and B'Tselem, an Israeli human rights organization, have corroborated accounts of severe mistreatment, including physical assault, denial of basic hygiene, and sexual assault.

The issue has gained significant attention following the leak of a video allegedly showing the sexual abuse of a Palestinian detainee at the Sde Teiman military base. The Military Advocate General, Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, resigned after taking responsibility for the leak, stating it was her duty to expose illegal actions, which led to a political scandal in Israel.

Settler attacks are spreading widely yet no settlers have been arrested despite their known identities. Even as the army directly participates in and protects these assaults, the U.S. Secretary of State was forced to condemn them following a damning UN report, and Israel’s Defense Minister claimed he would try to stop them yet no actual action is taken to do so.
