The problem with building the team over a 3 year period is that not all players work out and you will have to improve different areas. so when focusing on midfield may need a striker or a defender. Ridiculous! 😡 #mufc
The high level decisions and strategy to purchasing players is not that of an elite level club, run like a team that is happy getting by each season, getting Europe etc.. no longer wanting to compete at the top table #mufc
@HughWoozencroft Spurs, City, Chelsea and Liverpool all spent more on one player than United’s net spend.
Embarrassing how restricted we are, failure this season would not be on Carrick as not given what he needed to compete on four fronts!
@samuelluckhurst Will need more than one left back now next year with Shaw’s contract ending need an upgrade at right back, 2 CB’s and will need to enhance forward areas that we neglected this summer too! Not going to do all that so going to be the same next summer!
@markgoldbridge No, but not going to change, they have no interest in selling up, look at all the storms they have seen out. Protests, a game postponed due to a pitch invasion etc.. and still never sold up and INIOS are trying to run like a business not a football club, not going to change!
@lauriewhitwell@MarioCortegana@GuillermoRai_@reallycerys Really poor, leaving Carrick short, massive opportunity missed in this window. City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs all spent more on one player than United’s Net spend.. but expected to compete on 4 fronts. Embarrassing!
@ManUtd net spend is less than what City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs have spent on one player this window. We are supposed to be one of the biggest clubs in the world but act like a newly promoted side in the transfer market! Embarrassing #mufc
The message was for the fans to judge the window at the end of it, well we are almost there and it has been shit! Wilcox should resign at 11pm for a dereliction of duty, this window with what everyone else has done has put us back years from competing! #mufc
You know it’s bad when even the players are expecting more additions, both Maguire and Shaw have both said it in recent interviews along with Carrick. The @ManUtd manager, players and fans have been let down massively by the ownership and board! Disgraceful! #mufc
Simple fact of the matter is if we had spent in line with the rest of the so called big six we would have been considered title challengers, but the owners and board are not bothered about winning things #mufc
You know what will happen now it is so obvious, we don’t bring in a left back and Shaw will get injured, will end up with someone playing out of position #mufc
