@IoWBobSeely@faisalislam And you’ve failed to grasp a government can’t do all that in 2yrs, and can’t never do it in 14 years if you keep changing leadership every 5 minutes. This is media driven, not the public.

@IoWBobSeely@10DowningStreet 1. Being anti Israel’s actions is not anti-Semite. 2. Your current leader was in a position to do something about grooming gangs when you were in power but did nothing. 3. You know full well there’s due legal process to complete to ascertain their status.
🎤 @LewisCapaldi is BACK.
For the first time since 2022, Lewis returns to the Isle of Wight Festival as your Friday #SkyxIOW headliner.
After 2 years out of the spotlight, he came roaring back this summer with ‘Survive’, and we can't wait to hear it live in June.

@BenInRushcliffe He’s not going to be running the country. You’ve seen how our FPTP system works yeah? And how far away an election is? And how polls at this kind of time in a parliament are often wildly wrong? It’s great to hear some new voices but everyone does need to calm down just a bit!
Ant Middleton goes bust owing £1 million in tax & vat.
Instead of paying his tax bill Mr & Mrs Middleton issued themselves £3 million directors loans which they 'settled' by paying the administrator £300k.
Angela Rayner paid £40k less stamp duty than she was meant to, she's now paid in full, and provided documents showing how it happened.
An accidental underpayment versus almost £4 million of self enrichment.
The hypocritical right in all their wonderful glory.

@supertankiii Completely pointless opinion poll for a party that barely exists, that certainly has no policies defined, and for an election that won’t be for 4 years!
I’m disappointed that @RachaelMaskell , @CHinchliffMP, @NeilForPoole and @BrianLeishmanMP have been suspended for acting on conscience and conviction. I stand in solidarity with them and want to see them reinstated as members of our Parliamentary Labour Party.
The issues they took a stand on - like opposing cuts to welfare support - are not fringe positions. They reflect the views of Labour members, supporters, and many former voters who now feel the party has turned its back on them.
We must strike a balance between collective discipline and open, principled debate - even in government. Backbench MPs play a vital role in holding the executive to account. Silencing that role is a dangerous road for any democracy.
At a time when authoritarianism is on the rise, pluralism, free expression and open disagreement must be protected, not punished.
Millions voted Labour because they wanted real change, not just of policies but of political culture. What’s happened today risks making them wonder if they’re simply getting more of the same.
@IoWBobSeely It’s not a pull factor. Most have to be here 5yrs before they claim, but of course there are a small number of exceptions. A huge % of those claiming as non uk nationals are from the EU and were settled pre-brexit and I’m sure this works in reverse
